I just got word a few days ago that I got into Chapman University, which I’m so thrilled about, I can’t even tell you!! They like me, they really like me!
While this doesn’t exactly have to do with sign, it does get me one step closer to getting a BA, which gets me one step closer to being certified as an interpreter. I just thought I’d like to share the good news. 🙂

Yay congrats!!!! In Australia, it seems they’re only offering the interpreter’s course every two years and it’s unknown whether I have to keep doing more Auslan study beforehand (most interpreters haven’t done beyond the 3 yrs that I’ve done although you can). Lately I’ve been interpreting at bible study and it’s always so exciting when you get to practice or take a step forward towards certification!!! 😀 *applause*

You didn’t say, but I hope your major is Sign Language Interpretation. Your post sounds like perhaps it’s not.
